This page contains some downloadable backing tracks to help pupils practice their songs and improvisation. The download tracks were all recorded on home equipment. All downloads are mp3s: depending on your computer, they might play directly or may need to be downloaded. Blues Windows Media play -
on recent versions this facility is found under Enhacements, then under Play Speed Settings. If you
can't find Enhancements have

would like to go further, for example to isolate specific sections of a
song, to continuously loop round tricky sections, to change pitch and
speed, plus much more, then use the Transcribe!

Transcribe! free for 30 days, and it doesn't cost much to
buy. It was written by a musician for musicians by a freind of my old
trumpet teacher! Here is a B-flat Blues backing track to practise your blues
with. I've created a few backing tracks to Mark Nightingales
brilliant Eazy Jazzy 'Tudes. These will work for trumpet, cornet,
trombone, baritone and euphonium. I hope you enjoy playing along
with them! Original recordings are available free on the Warwick Music
