Slowing down mp3 recordings

Windows Media play - on recent versions this facility is found under Enhacements, then under Play Speed Settings.  If you can't find Enhancements have a look at the following links

Apple's QuickTime player - also has a similar facility.

Transcribe! - if you would like to go further, for example to isolate specific sections of a song, to continuously loop round tricky sections, to change pitch and speed, plus much more, then use the Transcribe! programme from Seventh String. You can download and try Transcribe! free for 30 days, and it doesn't cost much to buy. It was written by a musician for musicians by a freind of my old trumpet teacher!
