Music Colleges & Schools

The four London music colleges run junior schools each Saturday during term times.  Entrance is by audition.  The colleges aim to provide a balanced musical education which normally includes instrumental or vocal lessons, theory and playing in various ensembles.  They provide a great musical experience for the young talented and aspiring musicians!

Guildhall School of Music and Drama - Juniors

Trinity College of Music - Juniors

Royal Academy of Music - Juniors

Royal College of Music - Juniors

For string players and pianists the Yehudi Menuhin School in Cobham provides a musically biased full time education for those with "exceptionally musical ability".

For boy vocalists, Guildford Cathedral Choir provides an active musical development and education at Lanesborough or the Royal Grammar School.
